Lodging

There are reserved conference blocks at two hotels in downtown Missoula within walking distance of the venue that will both honor the government rate. There is also the option to reserve a shared or single room in the University of Montana dorms. We encourage people to reserve space early as June is a busy season in Missoula and the Missoula Marathon is occurring the weekend after the workshop so hotels may be extra busy, especially on Friday night. A comprehensive list of other lodging options in Missoula can be found here.

Residence Inn by Marriott Missoula Downtown

The Residence Inn by Marriott located at 125 N Pattee St. in downtown Missoula has rooms available for $195/night from Monday June 22 – Friday June 26. They could not provide the government rate for the night of Friday June 26 but may still have availability at a higher rate that night. The last day to reserve a room in this block is Friday, May 22, 2026. This hotel is a 1-mile walk, mostly on pedestrian paths, to the workshop venue.

Comfort Inn University

The Comfort Inn University located at 1021 E Broadway St. has rooms available for $195/night from Monday June 22 – Friday June 26. This hotel could also not provide the government rate on Friday night, but there are rooms in the hotel block for workshop participants at the rate of $289 for Friday night. The last day to reserve a room in this block is Saturday, May 23, 2026. This hotel is a 0.8-mile walk, mostly on pedestrian paths, to the workshop venue.

University of Montana Dormitory

Jesse Hall on the University of Montana campus has rooms available for workshop participants at the rate of $42.39/night for a shared double room and $51.03/night for a double room reserved as a single room. Family members and attendee guests who are not attending the workshop can reserve a room in the dormitory. For double / shared rooms, both individuals must make a reservation with the link below and pay the lodging fee. You are required to include your roommate’s name, as we will not be matching roommates. If you do not have a roommate, select the single room. There are shared bathrooms on each floor with alternating gender specific bathrooms by floor. However every floor is coed so you may need to travel to a different floor to use the bathroom you feel most comfortable with. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Linens and towels are provided. General info about UM conference housing is available here. Dorm reservations will be available soon through a link on this website and the fee must be paid before February 25. Dorm reservations will need to be finalized by February 25, 2026 and we are unfortunately unable to make any exceptions to this deadline and cannot provide refunds after this date.
